MediaTrack needed a speech-to-text solution for their broadcast monitoring product that could handle a large volume of audio-visual content in multiple languages while maintaining high accuracy and customization. The solution also needed to be scalable, fast, and reliable to meet the demands of MediaTrack's global media monitoring operations.
MediaTrack chose Vatis Tech's speech-to-text solution for its accuracy, reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. The solution's ability to handle multiple languages and its seamless integration with MediaTrack's existing workflow were also key factors in the decision.
Vatis Tech's speech-to-text solution was integrated into MediaTrack's broadcast monitoring product. After capturing audio-video content, MediaTrack uses Vatis Tech's solution to convert the audio to text while simultaneously performing MediaTrack’s Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on the video. The resulting text and OCR data are then combined and further enhanced before being formatted for delivery to clients.
MediaTrack plans to continue collaborating with Vatis Tech to further enhance its media monitoring workflow. The company is particularly interested in exploring new features and capabilities, such as music detection, silence detection, audio event detection, and improved support for Asian languages.
This case study highlights how MediaTrack's integration of Vatis Tech's Speech-to-Text solution has transformed their audio-video content into searchable, analyzable data. By converting audio to text and simultaneously applying Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to video, MediaTrackhas significantly enhanced its media monitoring capabilities. The resulting data, combining both spoken and visual elements, offers structured, searchable insights, delivering greater value to clients in the media intelligence community.
